About Us:
Willie Wimmer (Owner/Head Mechanic) started working for KME in 1996 while in school and continued to work there until 2007 when he relocated to the Outer Banks. Willie started with KME building trucks, moved into repairs, and finished by traveling across the country repairing trucks, selling, and training on the apparatus.
Willie has been a volunteer firefighter since 1996. From 1996-2007, he was a volunteer for Roanoke county Fire and Rescue. He became a volunteer with Kill Devil Hills Fire Department in 2007, when he moved to the Outer Banks.
